New development plans

inovallée is now saturated at 80 %: in Meylan, we still account for 18,000 m² available offices, and a few buildings in Montbonnot are still to be built for a total of approximately 7,000 m².

In the future, several development plans will help receive new companies.

The affiliation of the ZAC (Zone d’Aménagement Concerté – Designated Development Area) of the Bas Charlais, which will geographically link both sides of the technopole by offering it a new property development area: 2.5 hectares will be marketed by 2012. modification of the PLU (Plan Local d’Urbanisme – Local Urban Planning Programme), which will allow more vertical density in the heart of the Meylan technopole by at least doubling its ability to receive new companies. a new economical area should be created in Montbonnot, in keeping with the current development strategy of inovallée. Finally the Valley of Innovation: ino vallée has thus been open this year to technological companies of the Grésivaudan Valley which can join the company club and benefit from all the services of the Isère technopolitan network.

Moving from the zone concept (ZIRST) to that of the valley concept ( ino vallée ) represents the beginning of a new territorial dynamism revolving around an open and corporative policy. Being part of the Minalogic competitiveness centre in terms of embedded systems and software, but also of the Tenerrdis centre, for renewable energy development, the technopole thus confirms its complementarity with the emerging centres of the Region
