A multi-sector high-tech vocation

All the activity sectors are eligible as long as the company uses an innovative technology which meets the vocation of the technopole. In addition, the inovallée activity sectors kept up with the technological evolutions of the end of the century: after the electronics and IT boom, the technopole was open to telecommunication before fully playing the CIT (Communications and Information Technology) or biotechnology card . In the broadest sense, Software represents nevertheless the most significant part of the activity of the inovallée technopole.

Many SMBs

Although the technology park includes some of the major international groups such as Capgemini, Schneider Electric, Atos Origin, Teamlog or Eaton, the economic network of the technopole remains mainly comprised of SMBs, with:

  • 90% of companies with less than 50 employees,
  • 56% of companies with less than 10 employees,
  • 10% one-person companies.
